BRUCE IZMIRIAN

FOUNDER + PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Landscape design as an art form has the potential to elevate one’s outdoor living spaces in a way that brings grace, beauty and inspiration to the every day.

Southern California’s various microclimates require a scientific knowledge of materials and plants best suited for these various environments. Sun, wind and drought, along with water conservation give all landscape designers the opportunity to wrestle with nature.

Whether designing for the more temperate and moist climates of Malibu and the Palisades, or the warmer and drier climates of the Ojai Valley, Bruce utilizes his knowledge of plants and hardscape materials appropriate for use in these microclimates.

On top of these foundational elements, Bruce both sees and experiences landscape design as a sacred process, recognizing that each space has the potential to bring out the true beauty and essence of nature in our surrounding environments, curating a personal retreat to inspire our busy, day to day lives. Color, form, beauty and function are all woven together for a unique sensory experience. Whether day or evening, spring or fall, each moment and season is brought fully to life and celebrated.

Bruce engages each homeowner in a co-creative design process, the end result being outdoor areas transformed into livable places meant to hold, nourish and inspire its occupants, and where value, integrity and design coalesce to create the ideal designer-client experience, as well as breathtaking environments.
